Mowing and Tipping

Once Upon A Time, there was a girl. She had never mowed grass in her life. She had ridden around on the riding lawn-mower once, a very long time ago, but she wasn't cutting any grass. Well, then she went and stayed with her aunt in Florida, and her aunt asked her to mow.
"I've never done this before, I'm going to really mess something up!" she thought, but everything actually went fine.

So now I can't say that I have never mowed grass, ever again. There's a first time for everything!

Saturday we ordered a pizza, but we payed for it with a credit card, and forgot to tip the pizza guy. Well, we were going past the pizza place today, and I told Caiti, "Haha, we should like, go in and leave the tip for the pizza delivery dude." but we were both like, "He's probably not even there."
Well, when we drove around the back of the Publix, lo and behold, behind the pizza place was our pizza guy! And I had a couple of dollars, too. :D So we stopped, and gave him the tip. That totally made my day!

I'm finally almost done writing an article on Parents. I've been working on it for awhile now. I just need some friendly input, and then I'll be able to finish it up.

You've never mowed grass before! Laura! Well I guess I just started last year actually doing it often. The first time I did it this year was for two houses with huge lots and I got bad blisters on my hands from mowing for 3 hours! But I made $30!

You're not alone in the mowing section... ;-) Somehow, I doubt I'd do it in a proper fashion.

What you did with the pizza guy was cool. It must have made him feel quite happy too. Do you think it was by coincidence that you got to see him again? I think it was God, for some reason (I find it harder and harder to believe in plain old coincidence).

I actually love to mow grass. It is really relaxing for me and comes naturally. (I know, I know... I am weird) But there is only three girls in our family so we have to kind of take up the slack in the manly department. :)

Our Dad likes it when we help him outside.

That was neat about the pizza guy! ;)
